On November 3rd, (Fri), WI.Plat received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in the Global Start-up category at the startup awards ceremony for entrepreneurs during the KOBIA Entrepreneurship EXPO held at COEX in Seoul!

WI.Plat’s ‘Intelligent Water Leak Management System (NELOW)’ is a leakage management system developed to reduce the global gap in water supply services. In many developing countries, there are limitations to effectively using advanced technology and specialized equipment, such as leak detectors, even if the local workforce is familiar with their operation. Detecting and discerning leaks by listening to leak sounds, even with knowledge of equipment usage, requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience. Therefore, ‘Intelligent Water Leak Management System (NELOW)’ has been striving to enable local personnel to resolve leakage issues independently with short-term system utilization training. In line with this effort, since 2021, we have formed a dedicated overseas business team to focus on expanding into international markets.

It is a great honor to be recognized with the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in the Global Start-up category as a result of these efforts.
