Innovating Water Management: WI.Plat at INDOWATER 2022

WI.Plat participated in INDOWATER 2022 held in Jakarta, Indonesia at Jakarta Convention Center from 5th to 7th of October. INDOWATER 2022 exhibition is a part of INDO WATER Expo & Forum where related forums, seminars, and exhibitions are held in one place and attended & organized by public organizations and companies.

This year, 622 visitors from more than 30 different countries including Australia, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Sweden attended INDOWATER 2022.

As a local business partner encountered through KOICA CTS program of 2021 to 2022, SUPRA INTERNATIONAL worked and supported

 

Indonesia Water Forum 2022: Showcasing Intelligent Leak Management

WI.Plat booth in collaboration. It made it possible for WI.Plat team to have meetings with many local waterworks(PDAM) officials and have them deeply understand and learn about ‘underground Intelligent water leak management system’ of WI.Plat.

Especially, CEO of WI.Plat, Sanghoon Cha attended the Indonesia Water Forum 2022 (IWF 2022)’ held by PERPAMSI (Indonesia Waterworks Association) as a presenter for the seminar with the theme of ‘Digital Transformation and Technology Innovation of SPAM’ as one of the representatives from Korean companies.

As a result, WI.Plat successfully presented innovative aspects of ‘Intelligent water leak management system’ and the actual cases conducted in the local city (Sukabumi) to 21 local waterworks and the officials.

Thanks to the great effort and opportunity provided by KEPA(Korea Environmental Preservation Association) to conduct Korean Pavilion at the exhibitions, WI. Plat would like to give sincere appreciation to KEPA.

The exhibition was not only successful but also a great chance for WI. Plat team to take one step closer to the Indonesian market. Thank you.

WI.Plat participated in ‘WATER KOREA’, Korea’s leading water industry exhibition, and introduced ‘Intelligent Water Leakage Management System’ at the exhibition.

‘Intelligent leak management system’ that applies AI, IoT, and cloud technologies is composed of two types of hardware equipment, smartphone apps, and web cloud systems. The system enables users to reduce time, cost even without leak detection experts.

Companies with various technologies related to the water industry gathered in one place to study market trends and successfully completed the exhibition with the same goal, the contribution to the development of the water industry.

• Event: 2022 WI.Plat Workshop

WI.Plat had a workshop for the first half of the year 2022. All the team members of WI.Plat finally able to have a off-line meeting.

The workshop was a great opportunity to review all the activities of WI.Plat for the past half year and have a moment to think about how to move forward for the rest of the year 2022.

Thanks to special guests from K-water, the specialists of the water supply system, there were sessions where we have learned and share knowledge of current state of water supply systems in Korea.

WI.Plat will keep continue to provide best solution for the global water problems as well as within Korea.

Following last year, WI.Plat participated ENVEX 2022 exhibition, the biggest environmental technology and carbon neutral exhibition in South Korea.

Participation at SIWW 2022: A Global Water Industry Event

WI.Plat, as the first Korean start-up finalist of Imagine H2O Asia cohort 3, had participated and Introduced ‘Intelligent Water Leak Management System‘ at the SIWW 2022 (Singapore International Water Week 2022) held at Sands Expo & Convention Center in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from April 18th to 21st, 2022.

Delegates from many different countries such as Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia and India had given us so much attention. Fruitful discussion between international delegates were delivered at the booth. They also had exchange thoughts and ideas about current trends of water industry and the future direction for improvement.

To be part of Imagine H2O Asia Pavilion was very exceptional experience as much attention as we received.

We would like to give special credit to the team IH2O very much for the hard work on publication and supporting preparation of each cohorts to be participated successfully.

‘Intelligent Water Leak Management System‘ which is consist of hardware/software(Web/App) enables both expert and non-expert to manage water distribution system without hardships. Since it does not require cost for complicated systems, equipment and hiring experts, the cost can be saved much less then conventional method.

We hope through ‘SIWW 2022’, the attention to water industries goes higher and higher.

For the water distribution sector, WI.Plat wishes the world without any service gap between countries!
