In July 2025, WI.Plat participated in Thai Water Expo 2025, further reinforcing its presence and foundation in Thailand’s leak management sector.
Organized by Informa Markets, Thai Water Expo is the largest water and wastewater exhibition in Thailand and one of Southeast Asia’s leading platforms for showcasing cutting-edge water technologies and solutions. The event attracts a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, entrepreneurs, and investors, facilitating meaningful exchange and collaboration.
At the exhibition, WI.Plat introduced its NELOW(Intelligent Water Leak Management System), which utilizes artificial intelligence(AI) and Internet of Things(IoT) technologies for real-time leak detection. The company also actively promoted its ongoing pilot project in Thailand, drawing considerable attention from regional stakeholders.
The project, selected in 2024 as part of the Overseas Field Demonstration Support Program for Green Technologies by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute(KEITI), aims to deliver WI.Plat’s smart leak management technologies to Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, to tackle water loss issues and support the development of sustainable water management systems.
During the event, WI.Plat’s systems and equipment received strong interest from local utilities and water-related institutions across Southeast Asia. Meaningful discussions on potential technology adoption and partnership opportunities were also held.
In addition, WI.Plat conducted field leak detection in suspected areas of the pilot project site and operated training programs for the local implementing agency. These efforts not only promoted the company’s technology but also delivered tangible progress in project implementation.
WI.Plat remains committed to delivering sustainable solutions to global water loss challenges and will continue to drive innovation and create social value in the international water management industry.
